FRF and SGO are factory firmware containers used across Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Skoda applications. Support depends on the container encoding and ECU profile; the extension alone does not establish compatibility.
A container may hold several software or calibration blocks. The ZIP contains the extracted BIN files, source and address metadata, and any conversion warnings. Keep these together: concatenating the blocks does not necessarily produce a complete flash image.
For example, a block declared at address 0x800000 does not imply that the BIN contains eight megabytes of preceding data. Use the address recorded in the report when mapping the block into your editor.
Use files that match your ECU and software version. A converted container is not a tuned calibration.
