Air conditioning service in South Wales

Regas, or find out why it is not getting cold

The air-conditioning machine is in the workshop at Llandow, so a regas or a system that has stopped working can be booked on its own or with a service or an MOT.

A regas is the right job when the system still holds pressure and has simply lost gas. If it blows warm, the compressor does not pull in, or it has been filled before and gone warm again, the leak or the fault has to be found before more gas is put in.

What changes the quote

The registration, how much gas that system takes, and whether we are regassing a tight system or tracing a leak, a weak compressor, or a pipe that has already been apart.

What people book it for

It is not cold enough

Warm air at idle, cold air only on the motorway, or a system that was fine last summer and is not this year. Tell us which vents are affected and whether the compressor clutch clicks when you switch it on.

It has been regassed already

Gas that disappears again is a leak until it is proved otherwise. Send the date of the last regas and any pipe, condenser or compressor that has been replaced.

While the car is already here

The usual booking is with a service, an oil change, or an MOT, so the car is not brought back for the air conditioning on its own. Put everything in one enquiry.

What to tell us

  • The registration, and whether you want a regas, a fault traced, or both.
  • Does it blow warm, smell, or fail to click on.
  • When it last worked, and any recent front-end or cooling-system work.

We confirm the gas and the time from the vehicle before you travel. The workshop is at Unit 11 Sambucus Avenue, Llandow Trading Estate, Llandow, CF71 7PB.
