Catalyst removal enquiries
We can assess exhaust hardware and ECU work for permitted motorsport, export or other non-road applications. Send the vehicle and intended-use details before buying a downpipe.
Fitting and calibration
We fit compatible customer-supplied downpipes and assess the associated calibration requirements. Fitment, exhaust leaks, sensor positions and ECU software need checking for the exact vehicle.
Changing a catalyst does not establish a fixed power gain or guarantee that every warning will disappear. An existing running fault needs its own diagnosis.
Road vehicles
A catalyst missing where one was fitted as standard is an MOT defect. See the DVSA inspection requirements. For a road-car exhaust upgrade, discuss a compatible replacement or sports catalyst.
