Book an engine oil change at Llandow Tuning, serving drivers from Cowbridge, Llantwit Major and the surrounding Vale of Glamorgan.
Our independent workshop brings VAG, BMW and Mercedes expertise to oil servicing, alongside work on other premium and supercar brands. We select the oil, filter and service procedure for your particular engine, its maintenance requirements and its use.
Whether the next oil service is due or you want to discuss an additional change between scheduled services, send us your vehicle details and history. We can also assess whether an oil-system flush is appropriate before agreeing the work.

A viscosity such as 5W-30 does not identify every requirement. The oil also needs to meet the specification or approval required for the engine. We check the applicable vehicle information rather than selecting oil from the badge or viscosity alone.
Volkswagen's oil guidance explains how the required VW standard relates to the oil specified in the owner's manual.
An engine oil change includes a replacement oil filter. We identify the correct filter and the seals, washers or drain-plug parts required by the applicable procedure, with suitable access and refitting of any covers removed for the service.
The quote reflects your engine's oil quantity and parts requirements. Different engines within the same model range can require different oils and filters.
Draining, refilling and checking the level must follow the engine's procedure. Dry-sump systems, separate oil tanks and electronic level measurement can require particular steps and operating conditions.
For example, Porsche's Classic oil guidance describes a warm, running-engine level check for the classic dry-sump applications it covers. We confirm the instructions for the actual vehicle.
We welcome oil-service enquiries for Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Skoda, as well as BMW and Mercedes-Benz. The exact engine, model year and service schedule determine the requirements, including on performance derivatives.
For other premium cars and supercars, send the make, model and engine details so we can confirm the oil, parts and manufacturer service procedure before booking.
Tell us about modifications, track use, extended storage or a change in oil consumption. This helps us discuss maintenance and whether separate assessment is needed.
An oil and filter change is a defined maintenance job. If other items are due, our vehicle servicing can cover the wider schedule agreed for your car.
Where suitable, a flush used before an oil change may help loosen deposits and suspend contamination so it can leave with the old oil. The oil and filter are then replaced. This is cleaning within the oil system, rather than a general treatment for every type of engine deposit.
LIQUI MOLY's Engine Flush Plus technical guidance illustrates this type of pre-change treatment. Product compatibility, dosage and application instructions must be checked for any proposed treatment.
A flush is optional and is not automatically added to an oil service. We consider maintenance history, evidence of sludge, existing leaks, warning messages and known engine faults before recommending a course of action.
Vehicle manufacturer instructions take priority, including any restriction on engine-oil additives. For example, this Mercedes-Benz E-Class owner's manual prohibits oil additives. Where a flush is unsuitable, we can discuss the appropriate oil and filter service or further investigation.
Heavy sludge or an oil-pressure fault needs assessment. A flush cannot be promised to repair wear, cure oil consumption or restore oil pressure, and it does not replace diagnosis of a mechanical problem.
Start with the schedule and service information for your exact vehicle. Time, mileage and operating conditions matter, so there is no single interval for every engine. Send the date and mileage of the previous change, along with any service reminder, and we can discuss what is due.
Yes. Tell us whether you need only an engine oil and filter change or want other scheduled items included. An additional oil change does not complete the other maintenance tasks due on the vehicle.
No. A flush is considered only where the vehicle's condition and manufacturer guidance allow it. Unknown history or a fault is a reason to assess the engine first, rather than assume a cleaning additive is the answer.
Those are separate systems with their own fluids and procedures. We can discuss gearbox servicing, Haldex servicing and BMW xDrive servicing as additional work when you enquire.
Send your registration, make and model, engine details if known, current mileage and the date of the last oil change. Include any warning messages, oil consumption concerns, modifications and available service history. We may ask for a VIN to confirm the specification.
The quote depends on the required oil specification and quantity, filter and service parts, access and the engine's servicing procedure. Any flush, further servicing or diagnostic work is discussed as part of the agreed scope.
