For a broader assessment after buying a car, see our whole-vehicle inspection and photographed condition report.
A tuning inspection is for a car that has already been mapped. The car goes on the rolling road, we log it, and you get a report of how it fuelled, how it boosted, and whether the calibration looks settled.
For an unresolved engine fault, start with engine diagnostics, misfire diagnosis or turbo and boost diagnostics before arranging loaded testing.
People book it before they buy a tuned car, or when a map from somewhere else hesitates, knocks, or will not hold boost. Changing a file supplied by another tuner is a separate calibration. This visit is the look at what is already there.
For a concern after our own tuning, contact us first: our full lifetime software warranty includes a code scan for a post-tuning MIL and free software changes where they can resolve a tuning-related issue or post-tuning driveability problem. It does not cover vehicle hardware. An inspection that finds no faults does not guarantee that a vehicle is safe to tune or test.

A run on its own is a power figure. The useful part is the log beside it: fuelling, boost, and how the engine behaved through the pull. The trace below is the sort of record a logged run produces.
This is a different visit from fit to map, which is the health check before we write a file. An inspection is for a calibration that is already on the car. Cell one is the Dyno Developments 2WD. Cell two is the MAHA LPS 2000 4WD.
Send the registration, whether it is two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, and anything you were told about the existing map. Bring invoices or a note of who mapped it if you have them. We report what the run and the logs show.
The workshop is at Unit 11 Sambucus Avenue, Llandow Trading Estate, Llandow, CF71 7PB.
