Emission Control Repairs
Free Code Scan, Printout & Initial Vehicle Assessment
Have a DPF, AdBlue or EGR warning light? Visit Llandow Tuning for a free initial assessment, fault-code scan and printout so you can understand the useful next step.Free initial assessment for emission-control issues
If a warning light, limp mode, repeated regeneration or emissions-system message has appeared, bring the vehicle to Llandow Tuning during weekday business hours. We can carry out a free initial assessment, read the stored fault codes and give you a printout to take away.
This free starting point is available for cars, vans, trucks, plant machinery, diggers and marine vehicles. It is designed to help you avoid guessing or replacing parts before the fault has been considered properly.
What the free code scan includes
- A conversation about the warning light, symptoms and vehicle use.
- An initial stored-fault-code scan where the vehicle is present.
- A printout of the results and clear advice on the sensible next step.
- Guidance on whether a repair, cleaning route, specialist calibration work or paid advanced diagnostics may be required.
DPF, AdBlue and EGR warning lights
These systems are connected, so the fault code alone is not always the full answer. DPF restriction, failed regeneration, AdBlue countdowns, SCR faults, EGR flow issues and sensor faults can need further checks. Our initial scan gives you a useful starting point; when the vehicle needs deeper investigation, we can explain the appropriate advanced-diagnostics work before it is booked.
DPF issues
Blocked filter, repeated regeneration, limp mode or DPF warning light? Start with a scan before deciding on cleaning, diagnosis or specialist DPF-delete advice.
AdBlue issues
Bring in AdBlue warning, no-start countdown, SCR fault or crystallisation concerns for an initial assessment and code printout.
EGR issues
P0400-series codes, poor response, smoke, limp mode or an EGR warning should be assessed before parts are replaced.
When advanced diagnostics is the right next step
A free initial scan is a screening service, not a substitute for the time and testing needed to prove the cause of a complex fault. If the code scan points to an underlying problem, we can discuss manufacturer-level diagnostics, live data, component testing and repair options before any paid work starts.
