Unfortunately, that’s not always the case elsewhere. We regularly see cars come in for a simple power run only to discover the tune is effectively stock, or what we’d politely call under-developed sometimes not so politely called junk.

Imagine being sold a “Stage 1 +40HP” tune, but in reality it’s only delivering 10HP, a sharper throttle map, and a bit of low-end torque.

How would you know?

Because the tuner told you it made more power… on another car?

Different mileage.
