We can tune supported post-2020 Ford Transit Custom 2.0 EcoBlue applications with Continental SID212 and SID212 EVO controllers. Confirm the ECU and installed software before booking; year and model do not establish protocol compatibility.

These ECUs use the Infineon AURIX TC297 processor. Their security previously prevented the read-and-write access required for tuning, even when diagnostic tools could identify the controller and read faults.

Support developed through bench access and unlock or patch routes, followed by protocols removing the separate unlock on supported applications. OBD support now provides another route for applicable vehicles. Our linked protocol reports document those stages. Depending on identification, we use the supported OBD or bench process, with checksum and recovery requirements checked for the unit.

For performance work, we review the engine output, gearbox, hardware, faults and normal load before adjusting torque delivery. A working van may need progressive low- and mid-range response rather than a large peak number. Economy-oriented work also depends on routes, load and driving style; an MPG improvement is not guaranteed.

AdBlue, DPF and EGR concerns need an assessment of the fault and the vehicle's intended use. Software access does not diagnose a failed sensor, blocked filter, air-path fault or other mechanical problem. Repairs and emissions-related software changes are discussed separately from performance calibration.

We develop and test the calibration at our Llandow workshop using diagnosis and logging. Send the registration, ECU details where available, modifications, symptoms and normal usage so we can confirm the access route and agree the work.
