Vauxhall Insignia: investigation after previous tuning.

The owner requested an initial assessment after paying over £500 elsewhere. The dashboard displayed 'Visit Workshop', and the scan recorded P113D, an exhaust-gas-temperature sensor fault. The sensor reading was nearly 900 degrees with the engine stopped; the soot estimate was above 50%.

Resetting the service intervals did not resolve the warning. We also found that the SCR system remained active. These observations required investigation beyond clearing NOx fault codes.

Update: the owner returned to the previous workshop, which restored the original calibration. The service light was then off. The owner reported a total cost of £550.
