Rally Scotland's preparations for a 2027 WRC debut gained a broadcast boost through a three-year BBC agreement covering the championship from 2027 to 2029.

Motorsport UK said the arrangement would include five live stages plus the Power Stage from each rally, alongside one-hour highlights programmes and digital coverage.

The returning British event is due to receive extensive live coverage across all four days, providing free-to-air access to the UK's first WRC round since 2019.

Rally Scotland will be headquartered at The Event Complex Aberdeen, with its service park there and competition planned on forest gravel roads across the north-east.

The announcement accompanied a new event identity combining the Scottish Saltire with rally-tyre tread. Detailed route, ticketing, volunteer and fan plans were still to follow. Together, the broadcast agreement and organisational preparations established a clearer public framework for the planned autumn return.
