The 2027 Junior World Rally Championship will finish in Scotland, with its champion offered a seven-round WRC2 programme in 2028 under changes announced by the FIA and WRC Promoter.

The five-round season will begin in Sweden before visiting Croatia, Italy and Finland. Rally Scotland completes the schedule, bringing the junior championship finale back to the UK for the first time since 2019, according to WRC Promoter.

Crews will count their best four results from the five events towards the final classification. Participation in Scotland is compulsory for championship classification, but the finale will award standard points rather than the previous double allocation.

The FIA says the WRC2 prize increases from four events in previous editions to seven. Tyre supplier Hankook will also provide an allocation of free tyres to Junior WRC competitors during the 2027 season.
