Deagen Fairclough became Nikita Bedrin's closest GB3 title challenger after a dramatic Brands Hatch weekend left four drivers in contention for the Barcelona finale.
Fairclough won the first two races before climbing from twelfth to fifth in the reverse-grid finale. Xcel Motorsport's Lucas Fluxa won that third race, making a rapid start from fourth and leading all nineteen laps.
Hitech's Yuhao Fu took his first GB3 podium in second, with returning team-mate Kanato Le third after passing Dante Vinci.
Bedrin finished seventh on the road but received a ten-second penalty for moving before the start lights went out. That dropped him to eleventh and prevented him from settling the championship with a meeting to spare.
The championship's amended classification was reported as provisional. Its immediate consequence was clear: Fairclough's strong points weekend and Fluxa's victory ensured the leading rivals would reach Barcelona with the title still open.
