Osian Pryce and James Morgan took maximum British Rally Championship points at the Grampian Forest Rally, finishing fourth overall behind visiting world-level crews.

Jon Armstrong and Shane Byrne won in an M-Sport Ford Fiesta Rally2, ahead of Romet Jürgenson and Siim Oja in a second M-Sport car. Nikolay Gryazin and Konstantin Aleksandrov completed the podium in a Lancia Ypsilon HF Rally2.

The Banchory-based event also served as an FIA candidate rally for Scotland's planned WRC return. Elfyn Evans and Scott Martin sampled the roads in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, although their times were excluded from the official results.

Pryce finished more than 26 seconds ahead of Max McRae in the BRC contest, strengthening the Welshman's championship position.

Organised by Stonehaven and District Motor Club, the two-day rally combined a national points battle with practical preparation for the return of world championship rallying to north-east Scotland.
