Elfyn Evans recovered from a Saturday roll to finish third at Rally Finland, helping Toyota complete a podium sweep behind home winner Sami Pajari.

Pajari and Marko Salminen followed their Estonia breakthrough with a second consecutive victory. They inherited the lead after Sébastien Ogier went off the road on Saturday and finished 26.7 seconds ahead of Oliver Solberg.

Evans and Scott Martin had been second before their incident. Repairs allowed them to regain a top-three position, and the Welsh driver added second on Super Sunday and victory in the Power Stage.

The Power Stage margin over Solberg was just 0.025 seconds. Those points increased Evans' championship lead to thirty over Pajari, who moved into second in the standings.

Pajari's home success also marked the two-hundredth WRC victory by a Finnish driver during Rally Finland's seventy-fifth anniversary edition, giving the event a further historical milestone.
