British Truck Racing Championship teams used Pembrey for an official pre-season test on 4–5 April 2025, completing preparation ahead of the opening races at Brands Hatch.
The circuit's report on 7 April said Friday's running took place behind closed doors, while spectators were admitted on Saturday. Teams accumulated mileage and completed photography and filming for the championship.
Drivers including Ryan Smith, David Jenkins, Stuart Oliver, Bradley Harvey and Jake Evans also had an opportunity to show their new liveries. Pembrey was scheduled to welcome the championship back for its second round on 17–18 May.
