Kimi Antonelli won the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of The Americas on Sunday, 25 October, finishing 13.078 seconds ahead of Charles Leclerc after a one-stop race. Max Verstappen completed the podium, with Lewis Hamilton fourth and George Russell eighth.

Formula 1’s race report said Antonelli made an early lead stick with a long medium-tyre stint before switching to hard tyres for the run to the flag. It was his ninth Grand Prix victory of the season. The official results page currently labels the classification provisional.

Austin was Antonelli’s first opportunity to clinch the drivers’ championship. Russell’s eighth place and Hamilton’s fourth meant the title remained open; Formula 1 reported that Antonelli needs two points at next weekend’s Mexico City round to secure it.
