Why this is shown as a range

Because every car is different and our tuning is truly custom to the vehicle, output power after any form of tuning does vary between vehicles. Anyone saying it will be a fixed X hp after a tune is clearly applying an off-the-shelf map.

On-road advantages

Where extra torque helps

Extra power is impressive on paper. Extra torque is what makes the car feel stronger, easier, and more responsive every day.

Easier hill climbs

Extra low- and mid-range torque helps the car pull up hills without needing to change down as often.

Safer, quicker overtaking

Stronger mid-range acceleration gets you past slower traffic more quickly, reducing the time needed to complete the overtake.

Easier trailer towing

Extra torque makes pulling a trailer feel easier, with fewer downshifts and less gear hunting, especially on hills.

Less effort with heavy loads

With passengers, tools, or luggage aboard, the car keeps pulling strongly without needing to change down as often.

Sharper everyday response

The engine reacts more quickly when you press the accelerator, making the car feel lighter, stronger, and easier to drive.

Potential fuel savings

More low-down torque can mean less throttle and fewer gear changes during steady driving, helping some drivers use less fuel.

Stage options

Choose the right tuning package

Each stage is matched to the selected engine, its health, and the hardware fitted. The aim is useful, reliable performance rather than an off-the-shelf number.

Stage 1

Specialist ECU/chip calibration

These vehicles use specialist EPROM, chip, bench, mechanical-injection or MBE work. We assess the ECU, engine condition and fitted hardware before confirming the calibration route.

Specialist ECU/chip calibration Price on assessment Contact us for an assessment
Power gain +18 to +20hp
  • ECU and fuelling-system identification before work starts.
  • EPROM, chip, bench, rolling-road or mechanical setup selected to suit the vehicle.
  • Power-gain expectations retained where the engine and management have supporting evidence.
  • Final scope and price confirmed after assessing condition and fitted hardware.
Stage 2

Hardware-supported custom calibration

For cars with supporting modifications such as intercooler, intake, fuelling, or sensor upgrades. We tune around the actual hardware fitted.

  • Best when hardware changes need calibrating properly.
  • Bring a clear list of fitted parts before we quote or book.
  • Health checks are recommended if the car was bought already modified.
  • Can include Stage 1 features plus hardware-specific tuning.
Additional tuning options We have a number of additional tuning options available alongside Stage 1, Stage 1+ and Stage 2. Suitability depends on the vehicle, hardware, and intended use.
  • Sensor, limiter and driveability changes where supported
  • Emissions or motorsport-only software work where suitable
  • Hardware calibration for intake, exhaust, cooling and fuelling upgrades
Stage 3 and above

Custom tuning for serious hardware

We offer tuning for most performance modifications, from larger turbos and hybrid turbos through to cams, injectors, fuelling upgrades, ECU changes, sensors, and built engines.

Session type Custom Quoted after reviewing the vehicle and parts list
  • Larger turbos, hybrid turbos, supercharger changes, and boost control upgrades.
  • Camshafts, injectors, fuel pumps, MAP sensors, intake, exhaust, and charge-cooling changes.
  • Standalone ECUs, ECU swaps, built engines, and unusual conversion work.
  • Best handled with a clear parts list, intended use, fuel type, and current vehicle condition.
Included with tuning work Installation, checks, support, and calibration matched to the selected vehicle. Any mechanical issue found is reported clearly before extra work is carried out.
Before major hardware tuning We need to understand the parts fitted, the condition of the car, the ECU or management system, fuel type, and how the vehicle will be used.
