What can limit the result?
For your EA113 1.8 20V / AGU/AQA engine, we check the exact specification and condition before recommending a power target.
- Engine and gearbox: pistons, connecting rods, clutch and transmission must cope with the extra load. Low-rev torque may need limiting even when more peak power is possible.
- Fuelling and cooling: fuel pumps, injectors, intercooler and temperature control need to support the chosen turbo.
- Fuel and ignition: fuel grade, spark plugs, knock control and exhaust temperatures influence the power the engine can use.
