- Use correctly sized hoses, clamps and sensor provisions.
- Pressure-test the charge system and resolve existing leaks before calibration.
Calibration and dyno validation
The ECU may need revised temperature, airflow and boost control work after a material change to the charge path.
- Log inlet temperature before and after repeated controlled pulls.
- Review requested versus delivered boost and wastegate control.
- Confirm fuelling, ignition correction and heat-soak recovery under representative load.
