Nitrous Oxide (NOS) Injection for your Dacia Duster

Specialist assessment required
The Dacia Duster Duster 2010 1.5 dci 110HP Diesel is eligible for an initial nitrous assessment. Approval and shot size depend on mechanical condition, current modifications, fuel delivery and intended use.
What the system does
Nitrous releases additional oxygen as it changes state, allowing extra fuel to be burned during controlled activation.
- A conservative, repeatable delivery target is more important than the largest nominal jet size.
- Wet and dry arrangements place different demands on the fuel and ECU strategy.
- Activation must be limited to appropriate throttle, engine-speed and load conditions.
Required hardware and safeguards
Every component and control should be specified around the vehicle rather than treated as a universal kit.
- Bottle mounting, lines, solenoids, jets and distribution must be secure and correctly rated.
- Use RPM and throttle windows plus fuel-pressure or mixture protection where appropriate.
- Confirm spark-plug specification, ignition margin and drivetrain capacity before use.
Calibration and dyno validation
Fuelling and ignition need checking both during activation and at the transition into and out of the delivery window.
- Begin with a conservative delivery level and verify mixture, fuel pressure and knock activity.
- Check repeatability as bottle pressure and component temperature change.
- Dyno validation should reproduce the intended use without exceeding agreed engine or drivetrain limits.
