Supported files and limits
The current profile searches for the recovered V1 and V3 oil-pressure map patterns. An ECU name alone does not guarantee support; the file must contain an accepted map pattern. The upload and expanded image each have a 32 MiB limit. Intel HEX gaps are filled with FF and the download is raw binary.
Before using a patched file
The patch does not correct checksums. Correct and verify the checksum before writing with your normal programming equipment. Always use a clean original once: applying the patch again stacks its changes. Keep your original backup and confirm suitability for the vehicle and ECU software.
MAP4 and MAP5 share a temperature axis. The service rejects files when their map pairing is ambiguous. Supported pattern detection does not certify a vehicle result.
