GPF and OPF enquiries
GPF and OPF are names used for petrol particulate filters. We assess filter faults and proposed exhaust changes at Llandow.
Warnings or running problems
Send the fault codes, exact warning, fitted exhaust and previous software changes. We can investigate the complaint, including problems appearing after an earlier exhaust modification. Removal is not a general cure for engine faults.
Restricted-use exhaust modifications
For a permitted non-road application, we check the ECU and exhaust specification, then agree any component and calibration work. Changes to flow, noise and engine behaviour depend on the system; we do not promise a power gain or long-term reliability from filter removal.
Emissions requirements
A particulate filter missing where fitted as standard is an MOT defect. Check the DVSA inspection requirements. Public-road fault enquiries should start with diagnosis and repair.
