A lengthy safety-car intervention dominated the opening Sunday race for WSSCC competitors at Mallory Park's Classic and Modern Motorsport Festival on 17–18 May 2025.
WRDA's 23 June report described a stranded Vauxhall Tigra near the Esses and hairpin approach. Recovery difficulties left the field behind the safety car for most of the fifteen-minute race.
The association's entry had been split across the weekend: five cars from Classes 1, 2 and 3 joined Saturday's tin-top and super-saloon races, while the remaining cars ran with the Intermarque Silhouette field on Sunday. The second Sunday race allowed more racing, with Fabio Luffarelli and Damian Longotano among the Welsh runners.
