Knoxville will host Rally US headquarters when the World Rally Championship returns to the United States from 26 to 29 August 2027. Rally organisers confirmed on 27 October that the rally arena will be based at World’s Fair Park and the Knoxville Convention Center, while Nashville’s Lower Broadway will stage the ceremonial start.
The gravel route is planned to cross more than 15 counties in Tennessee and Kentucky, with stages ranging from the Appalachian Mountains to the Cumberland Plateau. The event is the WRC’s first visit to the United States since 1988. The calendar slot had already been confirmed earlier this month; the new announcement sets out the host city and the locations planned for the event hub and start ceremony.
