Darren Leung helped Team WRT win the WEC LMGT3 race at Fuji, with the number 32 BMW recovering from fourteenth on the grid.

Leung and Sean Gelael established the platform before Augusto Farfus delivered a decisive closing stint. A late Safety Car brought the contenders together and left Farfus sixth when racing resumed.

The Brazilian passed several rivals before taking the lead from Charlie Eastwood's Racing Team Turkey by TF Corvette. Mattia Drudi followed into second in the Heart of Racing Aston Martin and maintained pressure to the finish.

Farfus held on by 1.062 seconds, securing the crew's first victory of the season. Eastwood, Peter Dempsey and Salih Yoluç finished third, giving British-based TF Sport another podium.

The result continued LMGT3's run of six different winning crews across six races, while Leung's contribution placed a British driver at the centre of one of the season's closest class finishes.
