British driver Tom Fleming secured LMGT3 pole for the 6 Hours of Barcelona in Garage 59’s #10 McLaren 720S Evo on Saturday, 17 October. FIA WEC reported that he set the fastest time in the 10-minute Hyperpole shootout, 0.122 seconds ahead of Riccardo Pera’s #92 Manthey Porsche.

Fleming’s Hyperpole was his second in the FIA World Endurance Championship, following his first at Imola. He missed Friday’s practice sessions while competing in the GT World Challenge finale at Portimão and first drove the Barcelona circuit in Saturday’s third practice session.

Jonny Edgar qualified fourth in the #33 TF Sport Corvette, which reached Hyperpole for the first time this season. The six-hour race is scheduled to start at 12:00 local time on Sunday, 18 October.
