Silverstone will host both Formula 2 and Formula 3 on 2–4 July 2027, under calendars announced on 5 October. The FIA's published schedules retain the British round as the two junior championships take on new circuits and expand their geographical reach.

Formula 2 will contest 14 rounds, with Istanbul and Mexico City joining its itinerary. Formula 3 has ten rounds and will visit Jeddah, Montreal and Istanbul for the first time, including its first appearance in North America.

British round followed by Austria

The FIA lists Silverstone immediately before Spielberg on 9–11 July. Both categories are due to support Formula 1 throughout their campaigns, giving British fans the opportunity to see two stages of the driver-development ladder on the Grand Prix weekend.

According to Formula 1's announcement, the championships will open in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in March, before heading to Melbourne in April and Montreal in May. Monaco follows in June, ahead of the July visits to Britain and Austria.

Different routes to the finales

After the summer break, both series return at Monza and Madrid. F2 continues to Baku before Istanbul, while F3's season finishes at Istanbul Park on 1–3 October.

F2's new Mexico City round is scheduled for 29–31 October. Its final two events follow in December, at Lusail on 3–5 December and Yas Island on 10–12 December. Formula 1 says the Turkish round will be Istanbul's first event in the FIA Formula 2 era.

The FIA explains that the new autumn venues help reduce the previously lengthy gap before F2's closing rounds. For F3, Montreal adds a new continent to a schedule which also introduces Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.

Organiser commits to freight costs

Championship chief executive Bruno Michel said the organiser would cover freight costs associated with the territorial expansion for both F2 and F3. That is a specific logistics commitment accompanying the new venues as teams prepare for the 2027 season.
