Nikola Tsolov became the first driver to win three consecutive FIA Formula 2 races after completing a Sprint and Feature Race double at Silverstone.

The Campos Racing driver started fifth in Sunday's main race and moved into second behind Kush Maini. Their fight continued after the early tyre changes, with Tsolov eventually passing the ART Grand Prix car through Maggots and Becketts.

Rafael Villagómez used the opposite tyre strategy to build an advantage before making his mandatory stop late in the race. Fresh soft tyres allowed the Van Amersfoort Racing driver to pass several rivals and take second, but Tsolov remained 3.2 seconds clear.

Maini completed the podium. Rodin Motorsport's Alexander Dunne finished fourth ahead of Rafael Câmara, with Roman Bilinski eighth. Tsolov's sixth victory of the season turned the British round into a significant milestone for the championship's race-winning record.
