Noel León earned his first FIA Formula 2 Feature Race victory in Budapest, keeping Kush Maini and Rafael Câmara behind during a close final stint.
Maini led from pole while León moved ahead of Câmara on the run to the first corner. The ART Grand Prix driver initially built a comfortable advantage, but the ordering changed around the mandatory tyre stops.
León stopped at the end of lap 16 just as a Virtual Safety Car was deployed to recover Rafael Villagómez's stranded car. When the remaining front-runners completed their stops, the Campos Racing driver had the net lead.
Maini gradually reduced the gap, bringing the leading three cars within 1.8 seconds with five laps left. León nevertheless held on, converting the strategic opening into victory rather than allowing the chasing pair through. The result added a new Feature Race winner to the season's competitive picture.
