Entries opened on 4 July 2020 for the Welsh Sprint Weekend, with separate online entry arrangements for Llandow and Pembrey.
The Bristol Motor Club and BARC Wales organising team had previously confirmed plans to proceed in August under Motorsport UK's COVID-19 guidance and the protection rules applying in England and Wales.
The organisers said entrants would receive a full entry-fee refund if changes to those requirements forced cancellation. Supplementary regulations accompanied the July opening, following the earlier work to revise the events' procedures.
