WSR has announced its intention to enter multiple cars in the new PM Junior Championship in 2027, expanding its involvement in developing young circuit racers.

The team said discussions with the organisers were continuing when the plans were released. WSR has won eighteen BTCC titles and had already broadened its racing activities with a GT programme during 2026.

PM Junior is intended for drivers aged fourteen to seventeen and is scheduled to run exclusively on the BTCC support package. Its organisers describe it as a professional, cost-controlled introduction to circuit racing.

WSR's proposed involvement would connect that entry point with its existing touring-car and GT operations. Team principal Dick Bennetts pointed to the organisation's experience and its familiarity with car builder Power Maxed Racing.

The announcement establishes WSR's intended direction, with the details of the multi-car programme still being developed through those discussions.
