BARC (Pembrey) and Carmarthen Motor Club announced that the Jaffa Stages Rally on 30 December 2023 would run without spectators because of flooding and a forecast of strong winds and heavy rain.
The statement, published on 28 December, said access roads to the viewing areas had flooded after weeks of severe weather. The organisers described the restriction as a safety measure for spectators.
They planned to continue with the rally itself, making minor changes to the stages to avoid flooded sections.
