Welsh teenager Archie Owen will race a full season of the Wera Tools British F4 Championship with Hitech in 2027, the championship announced on 28 October. Owen is 15 and has already made a strong start to car racing: he has finished on the podium in all four of his opening races in the Saudi Arabian F4 Championship, including two wins, and is second in that series standings.
Owen made his British F4 debut with Hitech at Silverstone in September, taking part in three races and climbing seven places in the final race to finish 14th. He also finished fourth in the final race of the F4 Central European Zone season at the Hungaroring. The 2027 campaign will be his first full British F4 season.
